Newsletter Signup

A key objective of most websites is to engage the visitor and entice them to make themselves known and initiate further direct contact. A useful way of achieving this is to invite visitors to sign up to a regular newsletter or mailing from your organisation.

Officepark provides two alternative solutions, the first is a simple sign up where names and email addresses are collected. The second provides a complete email design and management area where mailings and recipient lists can be organised and managed.

Simple Newsletter Signup Option

With this option a panel on the homepage announces the “Newsletter” or other title for the visitor to subscribe to. The choice of what you plan to distribute is up to you, as is the regularity with which you send it out. However, remember there is an implied commitment with this that if you promise a newsletter once a month, you need to ensure you send one out once a month.
In the Simple Newsletter Signup all the site does is collect names and email addresses, these can then be downloaded and used for your e-mail shot from another system.

Newsletter Management Option

This takes the above one stage further by adding a management area where newsletters or emails can be designed and composed. There is a second management area for controlling the lists and a final area for distribution, deciding which recipients will receive the newsletter and  when to send it.
Note that this option is not designed to handle large mailings where the user list exceeds more than 500 names.
