What is the Small Business Starter Site?

Having provided websites for companies for the past 11 years, Officepark has an extensive knowledge of what is required. From this, we have developed a cost effective package which provides a strong foundation for a new or small company to develop an online presence.

• There is no software to install
• You can change the site from anywhere you can access a web browser
• As it is easy to use, if you are familiar with a word processor and can type a letter, you should have no difficulty using the Content Management System

Officepark provide a comprehensive manual and tutorial to walk you through using the system, as well as being available to provide additional assistance should you need it.

What is included?

• The package comprises a complete website typically comprising up to 15 pages.
• The site is designed around one of a number of standard layout grids (these describe the shape of the page and where items like menus and content fit).
• The design of the site template to fit the chosen grid, this means the colour scheme and images.
• The building of the site, including the initial menu structure so pages can be accessed.
• We will load your initial content onto the site (we ask you to provide this electronically as word processor documents or email) so that when the site is ready to go live it is a fully complete website.
• The site includes a “Contact Us” form where visitors can make direct contact with you. This sends details to you by e-mail but does not publish your e-mail address so avoiding you receiving an increase in unwanted SPAM.
• A professionally drafted “Privacy Policy”, this is a legal requirement on UK websites and informs the visitor of what information the website collects and how that information is used. The policy we provide can be edited by you or retained as is and is written to cover most environments.
• Finally we provide a comprehensive manual and tutorial to walk you step by step through the process of updating the site. This will help you make your first updates, but of course we are available should you require any assistance.
